Charity Working Families today announced the winners of its annual Top Employers for Working Families Special Awards.
Now in their sixth year, the nationwide awards celebrate and showcase the policies and practices of UK employers who offer exceptional flexible and family-friendly workplaces. This year the organisation also announced a list of shared parental leave ‘pioneers’ – companies that have been first to offer enhanced policies, providing “more choice and equality”.
Sarah Jackson, chief executive of Working Families, said: “The last year has seen many changes in the world of flexible and family friendly working – the right to request flexible working for all and shared parental leave are now firmly in place. The award winners have demonstrated the best and most innovative practices and have gone the extra mile to support their parents, carers and flexible workers.”
