Motorway services company Welcome Break has signed a deal with office provider Regus to offer drop-in business centres.
Membury Services on the M4, 10 miles from Swindon, will be the first of the 27 Welcome Break service areas to feature Regus Express. The centre will have a business lounge with private workstations, wifi, iMacs, complimentary refreshments and bookable meeting rooms. Passes will start from £5 a day.
The deal is the office provider’s second for motorway services after it launched centres through Extra MSA Group earlier this year.
Phil Kemp, global managing director at Regus Third Place, said: “Two in five UK professionals are now classed as ‘flexible workers’ as they are free to work outside their company’s main office for at least half the week, thanks to new technologies and shifting attitudes to the physical workplace.
“Flexible working has created huge demand for professional facilities that bridge the gap between the traditional office and the home office.”
